  • New Patients

  • Thank you for choosing us for your medical care. To help familiarize you with our office, we have listed some of our office policies below.

If you do not find what you are looking for here, please feel free to contact us. We are looking forward to meeting you!

  • Prescription Refills

  • As a general rule, we do not process refill requests after hours or on the weekends unless it is an emergency.

We participate with electronic prescribing directly to your mail order and local pharmacy. Our goal is to assist our patients with prescription request in an efficient and timely manner.

Medications refills are best addressed at the time of the visit with our providers; this allows our providers to make any necessary changes to the medication. It also allows the patients to update the provider on any changes in their medication, new or ongoing symptoms.

It is the patient’s responsibility to make an appointment to get the refills when refills are necessary.

Chronic care medications like for Diabetes, Hypertension, Thyroid disorders etc will require visit every 3 months.

In some rare situations this may not be possible, and we may provide one month refill based on the provider advice.

These refill requests will be processed within 72 hours of receipt of the request. Refill request received on Friday will be processed the following week and will be completed by Monday.

We do not refill medication prescribed by other providers or specialist.

Some medications require prior authorization by insurance companies and that process may take an additional week. Patients will need to check with their pharmacy or insurance company for updates.

We do not provide refills for controlled medications. Our providers participate in the Virginia prescription monitoring program.

  • Financial Policy

  • All co-payments, deductibles and non-covered services are required to be paid at the time of service. For your convenience, we accept check, cash, debit and credit cards.

Some insurance plans have high deductible. If you receive a large bill it may be likely your insurance plan has a deductible. You must meet this deductible before your insurance policy will begin covering your visits and tests.

  • Patient Registration

  • For the convenience of our patients, we have provided our new patient forms for you online.  Reduce the amount of time spent in the waiting room by completing these forms ahead of time. Please be sure to bring your insurance card to your first visit along with these forms.
